Scion of the famous banking dynasty, Nick graduated in History of Art from Cambridge. 

He was a pioneer in the video industry in the 1970s, where he made films about Exbury Gardens.

After living in London, Nick and his wife, Caroline (also an artist), moved down to the family estate at Exbury. 

Here, he developed his unique style of PhotoArt, combining in-camera effects with Adobe Photoshop.

His work begins with the camera, but the final image is shaped through a creative process of experimentation, composition and transformation. 

His Shell, Flower & Grass series, for example, transforms individual photographs into carefully arranged compositions, creating works that sit between photography, illustration and contemporary art. 

A selection limited-edition numbered prints in acrylic format are currently exhibited at Palais des Vaches, with prices from £400.
