Born in 1973, Hampshire-based artist Stewart Beckett studied at Portsmouth Art College and Southampton Institute. Working in drawing and painting from life, he explores perception, presence, and mark-making with patience and care. His work unfolds slowly, inviting viewers into a quieter way of seeing—where subtle details and traces of time become part of the image.
