INSPIRING and extraordinary work by Hampshire’s most celebrated artists will be on show at Exbury’s stunning Palais des Vaches art gallery throughout Hampshire Open Studios week.
Mounted in collaboration with Lymington’s Coastal Gallery, the art show features sublime work by over 40 local creatives including Stewart Beckett, Paula Mitchell, William Pounds, Chris Whittaker, Long Ly, Kim Thompson, Michael Turner, John Illsley, Jackie Giron, Chris Cudlip, Nicolas Moreton and venue owners Caroline and Nick de Rothschild.
We are incredibly proud of our artists and are delighted that a number of them will be stopping to demonstrate and chat with visitors throughout the week.
Palais des Vaches comprises three inter-joining rooms that wrap around a beautiful courtyard garden featuring spectacular sculptures. The Palais features a collection of works by celebrated and lesser-known local artists, sculptors and ceramicists, along with a host of fantastic sculptures both inside and out. The exhibition also includes a range of beautiful prints, books and curiosities which are on sale in our Chez Moo shop.
Set amongst rolling fields and a wildflower sculpture meadow, Palais des Vaches enjoys stunning views over the Beaulieu River and the Isle of Wight. Find us at the end of a long gravel track off Inchmery Lane, around a mile and a half south of the world-famous Exbury Gardens.
